Pieter Mostert has completed two epic runs for DCH Charity in 2025. He completed the 100k as part of the Jurassic Coast Challenge in May, and then completed the Athens Marathon in November, raising over £1,000 for the Emergency and Critical Care Appeal.
Pieter said,
I’m running in support of the Dorset County Hospital Charity and their appeal to raise funds for facilities for families of patients at the new Emergency Department and Critical Care Unit. The plans include rooms for relatives to get some well-deserved rest and privacy. I’ve run the most legendary marathon in history, starting in Marathon and finishing in the old Olympic stadium in Athens , but I want to do more than just run for myself. I want to run a message, just like the ‘day runners’ did in classical times: running the news from town to town. Supporting me = supporting the hospital’s charity = supporting the families of patients in emergency or critical care. Join me in this message!”
