Dorset County Hospital Charity supporter, Jill Wintle, raised £850.76 for Cancer Services by hosting a Holistic and Wellbeing Fayre in summer 2025.
Jill said,
The fayre is all about making people happy and it’s a way to say thank you and give back to everybody at the hospital who care for cancer patients. People have so many worries in life, especially when it comes to cancer. It affects the whole family, not just the person going through it. Life is too short, you have to make the most of every day. Hosting this event makes me feel like I have a purpose.”
Jill hopes that funds raised will be able to help people who are in the same position that she once was.
