Communications Officer Sally ONeill

Sally O’Neill

Communications Officer

My name is Sally, and my role is to spread the word about the fantastic work our supporters are doing for Dorset County Hospital. I look after all our charity branding and messaging both online and offline so if you contact us on social media or via our website, it will probably be me who will reply! I have worked in charity communications and marketing in a previous role for 10 years and I was so pleased to come back into this sector after taking some time out to care for my daughter in 2021. In this role I am proud to work for a charity which touches the lives of so many people and really makes a lasting difference to patient care and staff wellbeing at Dorset County Hospital for generations to come.

Simon Pearson MCIOF

Head of Charity

In a fundraising career spanning 30 years, since I joined in 2017 it has been a pleasure and a privilege to lead Dorset County Hospital Charity’s fundraising in support of our wonderful hospital. The generosity and kindness of our local community who provide such valuable support for Dorset County Hospital is so inspiring. Our NHS is there for all of us when we need it most, and working together with our valued supporters to help make patient care even better is very rewarding.

I’m Jodi, and I’m lucky enough to collaborate with the wonderful supporters and amazing team at DCH charity to make a difference in the lives of patients and support the incredible work of the staff at DCH. With over 30 years of experience in the third sector, I’ve fundraised for various causes, including those focused on saving lives, conservation, sports development, and mental health. I truly believe that by working together, we can enhance healthcare and impact lives in a meaningful way.

Eleanor Cartlidge

Income and Data Administrator

My name is Ellie, and my role is to look after data and donations for the Charity. Often hid behind the computer screen, keeping things running smoothly in the background and ensuring your donations are given to the wards you wish to support.

Having a background in Data analysis and then as a secondary Maths Teacher, I left main stream education in 2022 to set up my own tutoring business to provide better help to learners. So numbers are my thing!
I knew I wanted to work for Charity alongside my business and found the perfect opportunity with this role. I am grateful to be able to bring my numerical whiz to Dorset County Hospital Charity.
